When Something Is Taking A Long Time To Manifest
I understand how frustrating it can be to want to manifest something and it just isn’t happening. You may get so frustrated you start setting the timeframes for it, saying, “if it doesn’t manifest until then, I am giving up”.
I have already talked about the timeframes and time delays. If you haven’t read that post already, feel free to read it. It will explain my stance on why setting timeframes may not work for you. I talked about the fact that setting the timeframes may cause a lot of stress in the long run. The reason it causes stress is because you are already coming from a wrong place: a place of frustration or disappointment or even impatience.
However, when you feel that something has been taking way too long to manifest, you definitely need to do one thing: examine whether you are living in the end. From my own experience, once I start living in the end and thinking from the end, it doesn’t take long for the thing to manifest. This is where a strong mental diet and persistence come in. Once you are truly living in the end, you no longer wonder why a certain thing isn’t manifesting. You also aren’t wondering if you are doing enough. You believe it is already yours and you know there is nothing more you need to do. You just have this unbreakable belief that things have already fallen into place, the way you wanted them to.
If you find yourself wondering why a specific thing didn’t manifest, it is a sure sign that you are not living in the end. The trick with living in the end is that you need to persist in it. When you first start doing it, you may find your conscious mind not being comfortable and reminding you of your physical reality way too often. This is normal. This happens because you are changing the way you are looking at things. You have grown up basing your judgement on the outside world, and the senses that perceive your outside world. However, when you want to manifest something deliberately, you are being asked to shut those senses off for a while and completely believe and surrender to your imaginal acts. You are asked not to react to your outside world. Our brain is not used to this. It wants to protect us. It makes us feel like we are being delusional, but I want to ask you one thing: when have you ever manifested anything without being “delusional”? What our conscious brain perceives as delusional is not as negative as it may sound at first. The way you manifested your SP to fall in love with you was by believing that your SP is in love with you even though the outside world wasn’t showing it right from the beginning. The way you manifested falling out with your friend is by imagining that they are talking behind your back or even by assigning their words and actions the meaning. Remember, everything is neutral until we assign it with the meaning.
I am getting of the track, though! To tell you more precisely why some things take so long to manifest – it’s because you are falling out of your desired state. Let’s put it like this…
current state: You want a raise.
desired state: You received a raise.
If you are constantly going between one and the other, you aren’t being true to your desired state. You are serving two masters. You aren’t living in the end. You must persist in the state in which you have already received a raise until it happens. The trick here is that it will start feeling so natural as the time goes by that you won’t even think of the “current” state anymore because your desired state will become your current state.
Don’t forget what Neville said…
“But the state, the attitude of mind to which you most constantly return, constitutes your dwelling place.”Infinite States by Neville Goddard
If you are constantly returning to the state that consists of the things that your senses are picking up around you, you won’t be able to change it. Create a new dwelling place for yourself. Make your dwelling place the place in which your desire has already been fulfilled.
Another thing that I see people struggling with is imagining the “wrong” part of the process. Don’t get me wrong, I do not think that there is a wrong way to go about it. But if you are imagining something in the middle, you will get that. Whatever you imagine is the end result. For example, if you ignore your current state, which is you wanting a raise, and imagine only that you have been summoned to your boss’ office, that will happen. But is that a sign that you will get a raise? It is not. It is only a manifestation of you imagining being summoned into their office!
You are always asked to focus only on the end result. Your end result is the state in which you have already received your desire. You do not have to worry about the how or even when. If your desired state is the one in which you’ve got a raise, then you can imagine something like your boss congratulating you on your raise, or even one of your friends. You can imagine seeing the check and the amount on it being higher than it used to be. You can be as specific as you want to be in that case. The point is, all of these things would happen after your desire has been fulfilled. That is the place where you should be dwelling.
So, again, if you have been imagining something for a long time and it hasn’t come to pass yet, examine what you are doing. Are you imagining the how? Do you keep jumping from one state to another? Do you believe that what you are imagining is possible? All things are possible to him who believes. Also, all things exist right now. The things that you desire exist. You just have to claim it as your reality, with all your might!
It doesn’t have to take long for your desire to manifest. Just remind yourself that all things exist. Remember who you are. How could your desire be “denied”?
